Founded in the late 1960s, our client is one of the largest and most experienced private equity firms in its industry. They invest in leading companies in high growth industries, with the goal of helping management teams build their businesses.
The London deal team is looking to expand their operation at Vice president level. This is a post-MBA investment position. The role will involve sourcing and sponsoring investment opportunities, actively working with portfolio companies as a member of the board of directors and successfully exiting the investment. It combines supporting the Principals of the firm in deal execution and, over time, taking a leading role in sponsoring transactions.
We are interested in candidates with investment experience gained within a leading private equity fund, coupled with strong financial training from the M&A or leveraged finance divisions of one of the global investment banks. Fluent spoken and written French, Italian or Spanish is strongly preferred for this position but not essential. Candidates should have a strong academic background, including a numerate degree from a premier university and ideally an MBA from one of the leading business schools.
