Develop an effective corporate and project financial management system for the business; provide financial reports to Board of Directors & CEO ; ensure timely financial and business reporting for management; lead and direct the financial, legal, human resources, IT & administration functions of the business.

My client's focus is on developing and managing an extensive and economically diverse portfolio of commercial initiatives, underpinning the surface and social infrastructure in the UAE. It does this either independently or in partnership with leading international organisations.

The company manages a multi-billion dollar portfolio of local, regional, and international investments, projects and initiatives, with impact evident domestically and internationally in sectors such as energy, aerospace, real estate, healthcare, technology, infrastructure, and services.

Principal Accountabilities

undertake complete financial responsibilities for the business timely and comprehensive reporting of annual business plan and budget whilst ensuring all treasury and internal control related issues are developed, implemented and managed effectively recommend required business actions/solutions to address financial and business related issues to CEO for implementation ensure compliance with IAS and prepare for audits manage all financial functions, including planning, budgeting, controlling, accounting, treasury, project finance risk management support the growth of the operation and ensure financial goals are achieved ensure that necessary financial controls and processes are established, maintained and adhered to provide fact based analytical perspective on the company's operations lead and direct the financial, human resources, IT and administration functions of the business develop and implement the company's policies and procedures, including financial (general accounting, internal auditing, budgeting, funding, financial analysis, risk management, credit and collections), procurement and human resources contribute to the strategic leadership of the business and assume primary responsibility for all financial activities ensure effective working capital management for the operation evaluate major investment projects, strategic acquisitions and joint ventures coordinate investors and banking relationships and negotiations, leading project and corporate finance products structuring and negotiations support major contract negotiations with government entities, client and joint venture partners secure proper implementation of ICT systems and related projects Skills & Experience

10 years experience in corporate and project finance, including finance management role in a project related investment business experience in project investment, PFI/PPP transactions (particularly in the GCC/UAE Degree in Finance, plus an MBA, CPA, CMA or equivalent
