Position Description:
Morgan Stanley is looking to recruit an experienced market research project executive to join a new global team. The incumbent would be applying the field of market research to investment issues. This is an area of recent growth and high interest among the investment community. The person would work closely with Morgan Stanley analysts and Morgan Stanley's clients. They will be part of a global high-growth entrepreneurial team with an opportunity to set up a new capability for the firm.
The role will involve managing all phases of market research including vendor selection, sample design, questionnaire design, data processing, weighting of results, analysis of results and delivery to clients. They will be responsible for communicating with clients in terms of project objectives, delivering progress reports, delivering results and answering questions.

Skills Required:
The successful candidate will have experience within the market research field as listed below. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience executing quantitative market research in multiple industries and among multiple audiences (consumers, physician, B2B):
- Experience of managing multiple projects in a high pressured environment
- Questionnaire and sample design
- Analysing and interpreting results
- Experience of a range of quantitative research methodologies
- Applying market research techniques to a wide array of business decisions (including marketing strategy, new product development, strategic planning, investment in new businesses)
- Familiarity with statistical software
- An advanced degree in business or market research would be preferred
In addition, applicants must also have experience of communicating with people at all levels, strong written and verbal communication skills, detail orientated and self motivated/Resourceful.
