The Advertising Sales Director handles all advertising sales activities for eSignal’s portal websites including, Quote.com, RagingBull.com and FutureSource.com.
Essential Job Functions / Responsibilities:
Generate revenue through direct sales of online banner advertising, site sponsorship, newsletters, advertising on third party sites and general CPL and CPM paid ad campaigns
Handle daily management and direct all ad sales activities including, but not limited to running an in-house, full service ad agency with staff responsible for sales, account management, ad trafficking, creative development and reporting
Serve on Portal Management Team and direct all ad sales-related aspects of the portal sites including, ad placements, assistance with new content selection and redesign projects
Participate in key business development efforts related to advertising sales including, web portal, content opportunities, channel partnerships and 3rd party advertising relationships
Qualifications:
Requirements / Skills / Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related field
5-7 years experience in ad agency, advertising sales and sales management
Outstanding sales skills with ability to build and maintain strong, productive relationships with clients and partners
Effective leadership and management skills
Ability to manage and complete projects on time and within budget
Superior communication, presentation and organizational skills
Excellent PC skills including MS Office required
