This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a senior leadership team, repsonsible for the effective managment of a number of 'Risk Units' for the Commercial and Corporate lending business of this global Corporate Bank.

The 'Risk Units' provide core credit and operational support to the sales and relationship groups, looking at a diverse range of functions from credit report writing, post santion fulfillment, facility set up and ongoing monitoring and control.

The Bank has a number of these Units based across the UK supporting a vast sales and relationship network and has a number of Industry specific Units based out of London. The Units have responsibility for supporting over 10,000 corporate customers across the UK. You role would be to provide stong day to day perfomance management, leadership and coaching of the Heads of the individual Risk Units across areas such as people, service, control and change with a clear focus on developing the people capability of the Risk Units through focussed recruitment, talent planning and development and training initiatives.

It is likely you would take responsibility for around 6-7 individual units with a likely total headcount of around 150- 200. You will drive strategic initiatives across the group, acting as the principal point of contact between these Risk support groups and the Sales and Relationship teams, also acting as the key driver of change for system development and control initiatives across the Risk Units.

You will need to be a proven man manager with demostrable experience of managing large groups ideally across multiple locations and you will have a good knowldege of operational and credit risk and a sound understanding of commercial and corporate bank lending operations.

For an informal discussion on the opportunity, please call Chris Parker on 0845 838 6023.
