Our client is the investment banking division of one of the world's top financial groups. With retail, business and institutional banking operations across the globe, they are a growing force in banking.
Our client is looking for an associate to join their Acquisition & Leveraged Finance team in London.
The work that the team does is fairly diverse as they deal with the buyside and also do a small portion of underwriting debt and work with a group of financial sponsors. They mainly deal with mezzanine finance as well as senior/equity debt. The team (and hence, this vacancy) would deal with origination through to portfolio management so there is plenty of opportunity to get involved with deal flow which are mainly UK mid market transactions.
We are looking for applicants with strong A Levels, and a degree ideally with a mathematical/statistical slant. You will also need to have at least 12 months experience working in an MLA origination team with proven execution and structuring experience. UK clearing bank experience would be ideal.
