An outstanding opportunity has arisen within this globally respected boutique investment bank for top caliber M&A Analysts with a desire to join an aggressive and rapidly expanding business.
Our client has made significant and positive noises over the last twelve months having made some very strategic acquisitions and investments throughout Europe. With a reputation as one of the most successful advisory firms with a major presence in Europe and North America, this award-winning business has impressive forecasts despite the market conditions.
As well as Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) the firm has a very strong track record in corporate and institutional investor debt advisory having advised on the restructuring of major global organizations across a range of sectors including TMT, General Industrials and Energy.
The current need is for two Analysts with outstanding academic and professional credentials. You will have first class technical skills and exceptional interpersonal and relationship building capabilities. Our client adopts a very hands-on approach giving junior team members a lot of responsibility early on. You will be encouraged to developed strong relationships with clients and come up with origination prospects as you progress.
The current team consists of a range of highly experienced advisors, many of whom have trained with bulge bracket investment banks or other top tier boutiques.
Aside from the above, you will need to have:
a minimum 2.1 degree (or equivalent) from a top tier university
A/Bs at A-Level (or equivalent)
outstanding communication skills
a high level of drive and enthusiasm
at least one other European language skill (preference for German, French, Spanish, Italian, Nordic languages).
It is also imperative that you have experience in mergers and acquisitions (minimum 6 months) from a top institutions and have therefore developed a good understanding of the basic M&A valuation metrics (DCF, etc).
