The department undertakes a diverse range of activities including model-based prediction, portfolio construction, risk management and trade execution analysis. AHL: Investment Specialist [2229] The successful applicants will be responsible for dealing with client requests about AHL, including researching various characteristics of our trading systems. We are looking for two individuals. One will be more quant focused, having responsibility for carrying out detailed performance analysis, explaining AHL’s investment strategy to investors and internal business units and facilitating all areas of client servicing for AHL’s mandates. The other will have responsibility for developing marketing materials, explaining AHL’s investment strategy to investors and internal business units and facilitating all areas of client servicing for AHL’s mandates. Responsibilities - Respond to queries as these arise and automate procedures to streamline workflow
- Undertake quantitative research including performance analysis
- Liaise with departments across the business to ensure first class servicing levels are being maintained
- Understand and effectively articulate the AHL investment strategy and portfolio characteristics to third parties and run training workshops
Requirements - Numerate degree, 2:1 or better
- Programming and advanced Excel skills essential,
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Proactive approach to managing own workload
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively
Additional Requirements - Quant focused: Established quantitative experience within financial services
- Familiarity with R or S-plus and SQL
- Client focussed: Established relationship management experience within financial services
- Experience of delivering presentations
- Experience of developing marketing stories/presentation packs for investment products advantageous
