An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Tax Controller to join their business. In this position you will be responsible for managing timelines and deliverables to ensure that the consolidated income tax returns and tax effect accounting for the statutory financial statements are prepared in a timely, accurate and documented manner. The ideal candidate will need to ensure compliance with the business's accounting policies (local statutory and US GAAP) and Australian taxation requirements. To be successful in this role you will be CA/CPA qualified, ideally with a solid exposure to or knowledge of financial services. Sound knowledge of UIG 1052 and AASB 112 tax effect accounting, and a background or recent experience in a large corporate will be advantageous. Like to know more?
