Our client is a prominent and successful hedge fund based in the West End. Due to expansion the first class finance team is looking to recruit a Business Planning Analyst.
Main responsibilities:
Involvement in the public investment portfolio, including investment tracking and portfolio valuation for direct investments and those held via SPVs
Reconciliation with external systems (prime brokers, administrators and custodians)
Reporting stock and portfolio performance to shareholders and SPV co-investors
Investment advisory subsidiaries, monitoring and control of operating expenses.
Liaison with outsourced accounting service providers in preparation of monthly management accounts
Business planning and developing, maintaining detailed business planning financial model for the investment portfolios.
Key attributes:
Fully qualified accountant
Public portfolio/hedge fund experience
Strong financial modelling capability
self-starter with disciplined approach to work
Excel and strong systems skills would be an advantage
