The Migrations Manager is a critical role within the Edinburgh site, responsible for overseeing the fund migration process for the site and the links to all other impacted sites.

The Edinburgh function of this Global Investment Organisation has a requirement for a Migration Manager to oversee their fund migration process. Overview The Migrations Manager is a critical role within the Edinburgh site, responsible for overseeing the fund migration process for the site and the links to all other impacted sites. This person will be in charge of a team of 2/3 people, and a wider “virtual” project team, liaising and with the operations and accounting development teams as required. The Migrations Manager will own the migrations and reconciliations tool, reviewing the BRD and once built, organizing and controlling the testing process. The Migrations manager will then take responsibility for the significant new client migrations impacting Edinburgh. The manager would be expected to liaise with and brief the Edinburgh senior management team and also the project management team on aspects such as progress relative to timetable, resourcing, site capacity Key Responsibilities • Oversee the building and testing of migration and reconciliations tool – inputting technical system knowledge as required. • Manage business change team – motivate and develop team members. • Liaise with clients on migration initiatives. • Briefing of senior management team on project progress and capacity. • Ensure that standard operating procedures are implemented and applied consistently in daily work practices. • Own migration service delivery to clients. • Be recognized as Migrations process expert within site. Experience Required • Strong proven background/ technical skills in a Fund Accounting environment preferable. Demonstrable success in leading large fund migration projects. • Excellent accounting knowledge. • Good understanding of the financial markets and investment products. • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
