Investment management organisation seeks a German speaking employee to join the Project and Infrastructure Equity Team - managers of the organisation's European Infrastructure Fund.
The fund makes private equity investments in infrastructure businesses in the UK and Western Europe, principally in regulated utilities, essential transport infrastructure and social infrastructure. They are currently looking to diversify their investment portfolio in Western Europe. The Role Assist in analysing and executing new transactions and developing the investment pipeline principally for the infrastructure fund, but also across the equity business. Requirements: -Create and/or review detailed financial models relating to potential investments. -Evaluate, structure and negotiate (as appropriate) investment opportunities. -Make verbal and written presentation of proposed and existing investments to the Fund’s Investment Committee. -Assist in marketing to brokers, intermediaries and sponsors, in relation to specific transactions and also to ensure a constant pipeline of transactions. -Monitor and develop our understanding of our target sectors. -Keep abreast of the European infrastructure marketplace for developments and new opportunities. Experience/Background Required -Excellent German language skills required. -This would suit someone with project finance/PFI experience, preferably with strong financial modelling experience. -Finance or accounting background.
