Real estate investment company is looking for a financial planning/modelling analyst to join the team.
As part of a close-knit team, you will be working with senior managers and colleagues in the Financial Planning Department providing modelling, analytical and strategic support on a range of ‘new business’ and operational projects. Typical projects include providing the financial analysis on property vacations and disposals, pricing a bid for a new contract, designing tools to help manage those contracts, and assessing different procurement options such as funding, pricing a change in clients’ contractual requirements and calculating the risks to the company and shareholder returns.
Responsibilities
Financial modelling
Reviewing of the narrative of business cases to ensure the narrative and accompanying cashflows are congruent
Presenting cash flows to board
Understanding the concepts behind cash flows
Reporting on P&L and earnings
To be familiar with, and keep abreast of the Organisation and work involved, in order to effectively liaise with senior executives and external contacts on behalf of the team as required
Skills
A-Levels in numerate subjects
2:1 Degree or higher in numerate subject
Excellent knowledge of excel
Good standard knowledge of other Microsoft packages
Good spoken and written English, including grammar and spelling
