Real estate investment company is looking for a financial planning/modelling analyst to join the team.

As part of a close-knit team, you will be working with senior managers and colleagues in the Financial Planning Department providing modelling, analytical and strategic support on a range of ‘new business’ and operational projects. Typical projects include providing the financial analysis on property vacations and disposals, pricing a bid for a new contract, designing tools to help manage those contracts, and assessing different procurement options such as funding, pricing a change in clients’ contractual requirements and calculating the risks to the company and shareholder returns.

Responsibilities

  • Financial modelling
  • Reviewing of the narrative of business cases to ensure the narrative and accompanying cashflows are congruent
  • Presenting cash flows to board
  • Understanding the concepts behind cash flows
  • Reporting on P&L and earnings
  • To be familiar with, and keep abreast of the Organisation and work involved, in order to effectively liaise with senior executives and external contacts on behalf of the team as required

Skills

  • A-Levels in numerate subjects
  • 2:1 Degree or higher in numerate subject
  • Excellent knowledge of excel
  • Good standard knowledge of other Microsoft packages
  • Good spoken and written English, including grammar and spelling
  • Attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal skills
